Intern GSI
Guidelines for Gold Seal Intern (GSI) Applicants
The Canadian Construction Association welcomes your interest in becoming a Gold Seal Intern Construction Professional. This document outlines the steps you will need to follow in order to apply as an intern one of three occupations (see certification guide for complete definitions):
- Estimator
- Superintendent
- Project Manager
- Owners' Project Manager (no discipline necessary)
and in one of five construction disciplines: General, Electrical, Road Building/Heavy Construction, Mechanical, and Specialty Trades.
Gold Seal Interns:
- Will be listed as GSI on the Gold Seal Web site.
- Will receive a Gold Seal Intern certificate upon registration.
- Will be authorized to use the letters GSI as recognition of their commitment to construction management education.
